Flavor Up – What You Can Add Without Counting

Here’s a quick list of ways to flavor up dishes without having to track

No-Limit Food Add-ins: Spices

  • Herbs & Spices
  • Seasoning Blends
  • Flavored Vinegars (we love Alessi Raspberry)
  • Flavor Extracts
  • Garlic
  • Instant Coffee Granules
  • MushroomsAlessi
  • Bean Sprouts
  • Celery
  • Mustard Varieties (No Mayo or Dressing Added)
  • Hot Sauces

Foods Under 2 Ounces Per Meal:

(A combination of 2 of these per meal will keep these as a no-count add-ins, but a third and beyond add-in will need counted.)

  • Sauerkraut
  • Roasted Red Peppers (On the Grill in the Summertime!!)
  • Dill Pickles (Not Sweet Versions)
  • Onions (Roasted Okay, Not Sauteed)
