This protein pancake is my new fav! And one pancake has the perfects #macros for one meal for me. And it’s delish! Added an apple, yum!
1 1/4 c old-fashioned oatmeal
2 heaping scoops protein powder
8 large egg whites
2 oz chocolatechips
2 oz craisins or raisins
1 med banana (about 3 1/2 oz)
Sweetener of choice
Mix, cook on med-low about 2 min each side. You’ll just have to experiment with time & temp on whatever you’re cooking on. We use an electric skillet.
Makes 4 med-large pancakes
Apx macros: prot 24, carbs 25, fat 4 (Fiber 2.5)
You can make them smaller if wanted. Just multiply macros by 4, then divide by however many pancakes you make).
Morning Time-saver Tip! … measure all the dry ingredients the night before in your bowl, set your banana beside it, crack all the egg whites in a container in the fridge. Then it’s just chop the banana, add the eggs, blend, & cook!
